Takeout from Happy Buddha rocks. This is the sweet and sour chicken (of course it isn't real chicken, silly) and an order of spring rolls. The spring rolls below are nice because they aren't fried, and they come with a delicious peanut dipping sauce. All this food was $12.60, and it's enough for two meals.
It's lookin' good. Curious: Is that expensive, in your opinion?! Vegan food can be pricey...
ReplyDeleteSpring rolls are FAB!

I love those nonfried spring rolls. When I worked in Wheaton, Maryland, a Vietnamese place near my office had those, and I got tofu and veggies with the spring rolls once a week. There's not a good place near me now to get that :( I probably should learn to make my own.
ReplyDeleteHappy Buddha sounds like nummy place to eat :)

Take out is such a lifesaver, esp vegan take out.
ReplyDeleteWhat great take out... I am jealous of all the vegan take out, but in reality, it's probably a good thing that there's none around me!
ReplyDeleteI LOVED your McHummer signs... seriously, I laughed soo hard!
Steamed spring rolls are called summer rolls. Epicurious has a good recipe, to which I add plain cooked chicken but you could add tofu. http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/recipe_views/views/105012
