A Needed Break

The Blog has been slow. Life has been busy in balancing work, triathlon, family, and friends.

I just got back from a very needed vacation in Ixtapa, Mexico. Four days to just relax in the sun. I didn't completely slack -- I did take a couple of 30-minute runs barefoot on the sand. I brought my goggles and swam a few laps, Perhaps I could have done more, but I didn't.

More to come to the blog soon.

Oh, that sound great! (the vacation). I don't want to bug you but my FIL is having heart bypass surgery right now. I'm wondering if you have any advice on getting him to start changing his lifestyle. If you've already blogged some or can point me to a good website that has some beginning steps. Sure, going vegan would be great! As would him stopping smoking and drinking black tea all day. A gal can dream! But he's been told to do these things before and never cared to. Now I'm hoping that he'll get it but want to help him with little steps to change his patterns.

Thanks! You can post back here or e-mail me at veganknitting at gmail dot com
