This is an incredible concept: A Vegan Ice Cream Parlor!
I met a friend for dinner at Sunpower Natural Foods, then walked over to NiceCream, which opened just over a week ago. They have soft serve, hard-packed ice cream, milkshakes, truffles, and other amazing treats. All are raw.
I tried a scoop of chocolate and a scoop of pistachio. My friend got some soft serve and I helped myself to some of that too. Yum!

A raw dessert place. Now, that is impressive. Is that a big shop? I really hope there is enough support for their business so they can succeed!
Vegan Heart Doc,
It's been so long (25 years) since I last ate meat that I could no longer tell someone, if they asked me, whether a veggie burger is "as good as the real thing" (actually, I think meat is bloody and disgusting and dead and I would say so, if asked what I thought about it).
But I suspect that it hasn't been 25 years since you last had ice cream. And I suspect that ice cream couldn't possibly be as revolting to anyone as meat is to some of us.
So, was it as good as the real thing? -victoria
