I think I've lost my marbles.
Ellen, a sorority sister from college, called me today. She's signed up for an ironman in November in North Carolina and since she knows I "do this crazy stuff" wanted to know if I wanted to join her. There was only one spot available, and I pondered it..... and now........
I am signed up for the Beach 2 Battleship Ironman on November 1!!!

Hi There,
Sorry it took a while to respond.. but thanks for the comment! I'm not "new" to blogger, just a new blog since I moved:)... See your blog is full of all nice althletic stuff and mine is full of food..hmm..LOL. I miss running, but I have some sort of knee issue that is even affected when I walk a lotnow which is creepy..and I haven't had the chance to get it checked out much to see if surgery would help or anything. It's hard to obtain and keep health insurance...most employers will do ANYTHING to not offer it:(..
So I will live vicariously through your blog:)!
OMG! Good luck.
I thought I already commented here, maybe it didn't post or got deleted somehow, but either way, Go IronWoman Heather! Giddyup! You can dooo eeet!
you're both nuts! LOL! Best of Luck to you both! Tell Ellen I said Hey!
Heather:
What kind of practice do you have? I'm an interventionist in san Diego and I barely have time for the men's room. Marathon races? Marketing Veganism? That's not how Spencer King trained us at Emory! #0 cases a year won't cut it. This is a man's field. Don't make us look soft.
