Lifestyle Change Works!

A study from the February 1, 2010 issue of the American Journal of Cardiology demonstrates the benefits of making lifestyle changes with diet and exercise.

A group of patients with heart disease or risk factors for heart disease were asked to follow a vegetarian diet with less than ten percent of their calories from fat, get at least three hours of exercise per week, and practice stress management for one hour per day.  Another group received the usual standard care.

The patients who followed the vegetarian diet, exercised, and meditated had improved endothelial function or function of the lining of their arteries.  They also decreased their C-reactive protein and interleukin-6 levels, which are markers of inflammation which have been shown to be linked to heart disease.

For fat that just won't go away after all sorts of diet and exercise, does liposuction offer any health benefits?

Frustrated -- In theory, if you liposuctioned off a large amount of fat, and then made lifestyle changes to keep the fat from reaccumulating, then sure it would make sense that liposuction might have some health benefit.

i do not agree on liposuction, people find it as an easy way to eliminate fat but it has sometimes causes some skin problems and other side effects. The best way is to follow a healthy diet.

yes i also agree liposuction is too risky. it may harm your health if it is not compatible to your body.

You should first perform a complete employment background check to the surgeon who will perform the operation . It is more risky to trust your life to a fraud surgeon.

Liposuction can be very risky. So before going there, you might need to check first the eligibility of the person that will do this for you.
