There is no such thing as naturally thin.
If you are looking to lose weight, watch thinner people -- they have different habits. Watch at a party what they are eating. How often do you see them hitting up the buffet table?
A few other secrets of thinner people:
They eat breakfast.
They eat several times a day.
They exercise regularly.
You'll often find them taking the stairs instead of the elevator.
There's no need to obsess over diet and weight, but if you watch closely, you'll see that thinner people have different habits that keep them at a healthy weight.

I dunno, I have thin friends that live off McD's. Literally. And soda.
I'm a little ashamed of admitting this publicly but I am a thin person and I don't work out regularly. Although the other stuff is accurate. I always eat breakfast of some sort (if I don't I have so little energy in the morning to work) and I eat throughout the day. Mostly healthy food too.
Now, I just gotta work on muscle tone -- oh right, exercise.
This is a great post, Heather! Thanks for the tips!
And some of us have to work harder than others to control the urge to eat too much. I think it is important to remember calories in/calories burned. Healthy people eat but also burn calories.
