Getting Better. Slowly.

I'm making some progress, or so I'm told by the folks at physical therapy. I tried running yesterday on my treadmill, and my hip is better, but still uncomfortable enough that I know I shouldn't be doing it.

Emotionally it's hard to get over an injury. Right now I really don't feel like talking about my injury, or even about running.

I'm focusing on the things I CAN do -- like biking, swimming, elliptical, and weights.

More food posts coming soon.

I am glad you are seeing some improvement even if it is ever so slight. I understand what you are going through since my back injury. I have to remind myself that I am no longer bed bound, out of the wheel chair, and done using the walker. Even though everyday moving can be painful it is getting better when I look where I was. Thank you for your input on my email. Hang in there!

Just found your blog and am very glad to see that the future of doctors are concerned with preventing disease instead of bandaging it.

My father died (in October) of complications (many) to heart disease. While he never talked badly about my being vegan, he never embraced it either. I wish he had...

I will be sharing your sight with my famly and friends....hopefully they will get it.

I'll be back!

So glad your plantar fasciitis (spelling?) is better. Patience and the rest will come. I've been in the same boat - plantar fasciitis to the max. Tried PT, icing, stretching, the stupid boot that you wear to bed. Nothing helped. Went from being a total 4-5 days a week gym rat to nothing, nadda. Trying so hard to get back into it. Thanks for your encouraging posts, especially about being a vegan. I've considered it, but with my Celiac Diagnosis still fairly new (Nov. 05 diagnosed), I'm still navigating through that world. Will continue to read your blog. Thanks for the great info!
