Neal Barnard, the president of Physicians' Committee for Responsible Medicine, came to Boston and presented a talk about his new book, Dr. Neal Barnard's Program for Reversing Diabetes. I had the chance to meet him and have him autograph a copy of his book.After the talk, there was a cooking demonstration, including this soup. I made it for lunch for my parents, who are visiting.
