Whole Wheat Pasta with Asparagus
I took some fresh asparagus and sauteed it in basting oil, which is grapeseed oil with some other goodies added to it, and added some ground pepper and sea salt. The pasta sauce is a "meat" sauce -- Prego Traditional with Morningstar Farms Burger Crumbles.
Ooh, that looks good! I didn't know the Morningstar Crumbles were vegan. I have a fantastic recipe I adapted from La Dolce Vegan! for a kick-ass marinara sauce.
I am an Interventional Cardiologist practicing in the Los Angeles area. I believe that lifestyle -- including diet and exercise -- are crucial parts of our health and well-being. Here, I share my insights on medicine, ideas and information about vegan diets, and my triathlon training adventures.

I have been thinking of getting Grape(seed) Oil. Haven't yet though. Maybe I will.
