Emptying out the Cabinets

I'm packing up to move in a week and a half. I have lots of stuff to use up or else it gets thrown out. Hence dinner. I had a jar of Indian onion cooking sauce, Morningstar Farm burger crumbles, frozen peas, and a can of corn. The veggies that I had hoped to use have all rotted in my fridge. I sauteed it all in my wok. And on top of it all, some yellow raisins for flavor. Easy, and somewhat healthy.

Once I'm settled in in Boston, I'll be back to some real cooking.

I cooked a Tofurkey with dumplings, etc. last week. After dinner I thought, that would have made a good blog picture: a real meal together on the good dishes. I started feeding the baby a Fig Newman every other night to practice self-feeding (that is how ofter she gets a bath and she really needs a bath after she goes to town on a Fig Newman). The aftermath would make a good blog picture:) Good luck with the move and I'll see you soon.

Go get 'em in Boston, VeganDoc. Hope your move goes smoooooooooooooth, kiddo.

I just bought some M'star Farms veggie crumbles last night, how funny 'cause i'd never gotten 'em before and here you are using them so nicely. Thanks for the idea of what to do with 'em...

I always look forward to your posts regardless of food content/photo ops!

Good luck with the move!! Sometimes, when using up the stockpile, the best dishes are created

To echo everyone else - good luck with your move. The food looks good to me too. I love anything remotely resembling Indian food. I've been wondering if the Morningstar Crumbles were any good.

Good luck with your move. I'm pretty sure Boston is far more veg-friendly than Rochester.

I really like raiding my cuboards once a month. It usually ends up in some sort of curry and brown rice. This looks great. Nice raid :)
