I'm a creature of habit when it comes to breakfast -- cereal and soy milk. But, today there's no cereal, so I've decided to have oatmeal. I put this in the microwave on high for 2 minutes with soy milk and a little maple syrup. Yum!

And, oatmeal is good for you. It is low in fat, has plenty of soluble fiber, and can help lower cholesterol.

What kind of cereal (dry) do you like? I am queen of cereal, and not usually the healthy kind (i.e. sweet cereals made by General Mills and that type), tho i always have Weetabix around...

oatmeal is great with fruit! I like to use frozen fruits and warm/defrost them in the microwave with the oatmeal. They melt into it. yum yum

It's also great with natural peanutbutter mixed into it! Just like a warm pb cookie. :)
