Lentil Soup
Earthy Lentil Soup from Dreena Burton's Vive le Vegan!
The recipe called for a few spices that I didn't have, like curry powder and savory. So, I added garam masala (a mixture of Indian spices), cumin, and coriander. I like the result. I eat it with crumbled Guiltless Gourmet white corn tortilla chips.

Yum, I love that soup with a fresh squeeze of lemon. Sounds like you adapted the recipe perfectly!
We made lentil soup last night too. It must have been something in the air. Mine is actually adapted from my mother-in-law's recipe.
You can't go wrong with lentil soup. That's a classic vegan recipe that most omnivores eat regularly without even knowing it.
